Project S.E.E.k
Over 30 years ago, Carol F. Burton, CEO Jeweld Legacy Group (JLG) was involved in the design and implementation of the country’s first and only longitudinal study and demonstration pilot addressing the needs of children of incarcerated parents: Project S.E.E.K. (Services to Enable and Empower Kids). She remains connected to this unique population through research initiatives, partnerships and the development of relevant resources. Today, JLG shares our expertise and skills with others interested in replicating the S.E.E.K. model, improving service delivery systems and building regional partnerships that safeguard the needs of children and families of the incarcerated through all phases of the criminal justice system.
